 +As we discuss in the [[expert_profiles#how_do_i_add_photos_videos_or_communication_widgets_to_my_expert_profile|Expert Profiles]] section of this Help file, one of the ways that an Expert can personalize his/her Expert Profile is by adding communication, video or photo **widgets**.

 +What exactly is a widget?  A widget is a self-contained piece of code that you can paste into your Expert Profile which appears to the people who visit your Profile as communication tools, videos or photos.  In other words, a widget is a small piece of software that you can install on your Profile for your potential buyers to use to learn more about you.

 +====== How do I add a widget to my Expert Profile? ======

 +To install a widget on your Expert Profile, the first thing you need to do is __copy the code__ for the widget you want to install.  The website whose widget you are installing (//e.g.//, PhotoBucket, YouTube, Meemo, AOL Instant Messenger, etc.) will provide you with the code on its website.

 +Let's say you want to add a YouTube video widget.  Just go to [[http://www.youtube.com|YouTube]], find a video that you want to add to your Profile, and on the YouTube page for that video you'll see a code (called an "embed" code) that you should copy by clicking on it with your mouse and typing Control-C (or on a Mac, Apple-C).  For example, for the [[#example_video_widgets|example video we show below]], the code looks like this:
